Spring Showcase of Arts & Crafts Palatine, Annual Art Fair NSUC Deerfield, Annual Art in the Park Elmhurst, New Textile Collages,Weekend Workshop Dates & Envelopes
I will be at the Spring Showcase of Arts & Crafts, Samuel Kirk School , 520 S Plum Grove Road, Palatine on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March. This is my first Midwest event of the year and I look forward to seeing old and new friends at this Charity based event.
More Dates for Midwesterners: I will be at Art 2015, the 46th Annual Art Fair at the North Shore Unitarian Church, Deerfield on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April and then at Elmhurst's 19th Annual Art in the Park on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May. I will advise further bookings once I have them confirmed. My bookings for all Art & Craft Fairs can be seen here.
I have produced a new series of mounted textile collages with writing on the mountboard backing. I will have a selection of them with me at Palatine and at all art and craft fairs this year. They are the subject of a recent blog on my website which includes pictures of the work. See below.
I have compiled a schedule of weekend dates for my Workshops from April through to September. There are two dates for each of my five standard workshops and they can be seen here. They will be held in my studio but if the weather is appropriate the Spring and Summer Workshops will be held on the terrace outside under gazebos. If you have a group(2+) who would like to attend a workshop at a time of your own choosing, either weekday or weekend, contact me to make arrangements.
I have had a Gallery return of a some more of my original one signature Journals. I have added these to the Clearance shop on my website. They are priced at 50% off. I have also added a couple more of the prototypes of my denim covered books which are also 50% off.
I am often asked to customise one of my products and examples of such work can be seenhere. If you would like a personalised item please contact me.
I have an ongoing requirement for envelopes, all sizes are welcome and any quantities will be gratefully received. If you are not planning to attend any of the fairs where I will be at in the near future please contact me and I will try to arrange to collect them.
