Workshops and Courses

General

My first Workshop of 2023 will be held at Gallery 23 in New Mills. It will be a bookmaking course using recyclable materials and featuring printing on both the leather cover and for decoration inside the book.

I am available to give workshops and courses either at a venue of your choosing or at Broad Lee House in the Peak National Park. Directions to Broad Lee House can be found here. The summer workshops at Broad Lee House are held under gazebos on the terrace whilst the autumn, winter and spring ones are held in my studio.

I can create a specific workshop to suit your particular requirements whether in terms of content or your own group of attendees.

I offer the following standard all day workshops:

Book making using recycled materials

Textile Floral Collages

​Making a Textile Book

​Making a leather covered book

Printing on fabric creating a textile collage and appliqueing the collage to a handmade bag

Liven up your watercolours with mixed media

Art Journaling using Rubber Stamps

At the end of all of my workshops the student takes home her own completed work.

Workshops will start at 10.30am and finish at 4.30pm . There will be a 30 minute break for lunch which attendees should bring with them. For workshops held at Broad Lee House a garden visit will be arranged for those interested.

All materials and tools will be provided. The cost per attendee is £65.   


If you would like to arrange for a workshop  please contact me to arrange mutually agreeable times for these events which can be tailored to meet your particular requirements. I can accommodate groups of two to four in my studio or two to six on the terrace either midweek or at weekends. Directions to Broad Lee House can be found here.
