Manchester Artists' Book Fair, Altrincham, Bakewell, Evanston, Barrington & its time to order for Christmas!
I will be at the Manchester Artists' Book Fair on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 October. The event is being held in the Holden Gallery, Manchester School of Art, Cavendish Street. It will be open from 11am till 5pm both days. This will be my last appearance before Christmas in Central Manchester. I will have themed and place Journals, denim, leather and slip cover books with me.
I will be at the Altrincham Covered Market on Sunday 19 October. This has already become the place to be on Sundays. Top quality locally hand made crafts and food with some live music. I will have my Christmas gift products (books, aprons and bags) available at this venue up till Christmas.
I will be at Bakewell Town Hall on Monday 13 October for the Craft Fair on Market Day.
Early Notice for Midwesterners - I will be at the Fall Flea Market at the Robert Crown Center, Main Street, Evanston on Saturday 1 November and then at the Showcase for Arts & Crafts in Barrington on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November. These are my last two events in the midwest before Christmas and so I hope to see a lot of friends and contacts who are looking for Christmas gifts. My current schedule of planned attendance at Art and Craft Fairs can be seen here.
I continue to add a lot of my original design, one signature Journals to the sale in the shop on my website. They are 50% off and can be seen here. They make great value gifts, but don't delay - once they are gone they are gone!
My 2015 slip covered diary is now available and can be purchased in my shop.
I have been making Art Aprons recently and they can be seen in a recent blog see below.
I am expecting to be very busy over the coming weeks and will try to keep stocks of all my regular products but if you plan to purchase anything in particular as a Christmas gift please advise me early so that I can reserve one for you.
If you want a special gift for someone or indeed a treat for yourself I can customise one of my books or other products for you. I have a page on my website with examples of such work. See here. But please give me adequate time to make it if it is a planned Christmas gift.
I have an ongoing requirement for envelopes, all sizes are welcome and any quantities will be gratefully received. If you are not planning to attend any of the fairs where I will be in the near future please contact me and I will try to arrange to collect them.
If you have a group (2 to 4) interested in attending a workshop please contact me to make arrangements. During the autumn and winter months they will be held in my studio. Details of the five available workshops can be seen here. Contact me to make arrangements.
