Textile slip cover books

I make a range of slip cover books. The slip cover is made from high quality heavyweight materials including velvets and tweeds. The cover is fully lined and has textile collage. The books inside are made from recycled envelopes which are bound into the cover of a recycled hard backed book. The pages have covered edges on alternate sheets to add interest. The books are finished off with end pages inside the front and back cover.

These books are all one offs and I offer them in the shop on my website as "velvet " cover or "tweed " cover. If you want a specific fabric I recommend that you make your selection at one of the fairs I attend. However, if this is not a practical option for you then contact me and I will discuss your requirements and arrange to send you one. I am often asked to make custom designs in slip cover books and many of these can be seen on the commissions page of this website.

I also make slip covers for bought in books with either plain pages or pages with ruled lines for writing in.
