Buxton, Bakewell, Alfresco Bookmaking Workshop, Brighton, Frida & Buxton Journals,
I will be at the Summer Fete in the Pavilion Gardens Buxton on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July. I will have my full range of products with me including framed textile collages.
On Monday 21 July I will be at the Craft Fair in Bakewell Town Hall. Monday is Market Day in Bakewell and I will be appearing regularly over the coming weeks. I will have a large range of my books, aprons, bags and makers' stuff with me.
I will be at Remix Chicago on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August. The event is held on Milwaukee Avenue between Fullerton and California Avenues. Midwest contacts should note these dates in your diaries. I will give you more Midwest dates as soon as they are confirmed.
My current schedule of planned attendance at Art and Craft Fairs can be seen here.
The next Book Making Workshop at Broad Lee House will be held on Saturday 26 July. You can sign up to attend this workshop in my website shop. Details of the workshop content can be seen here.
If you have a group (2 to 6) interested in attending a workshop please contact me to make arrangements. I can be fairly flexible midweek but most weekends are already committed. If you are only available at weekends contact me and we will see what can be worked out.
I continue to add blogs on my website covering recent work, including revised versions of my Brighton, Frida and Buxton Journals. They can be seen below.
Many recipients of this newsletter have visited my garden at Broad Lee House during workshops or at other times. I have now added a page on my website showing the garden at different times of the year which I hope you will enjoy. Visitors are always welcome by appointment.
My thanks to the many subscribers who are saving envelopes for me. All sizes are welcome and any quantities will be gratefully received as my stocks are starting to run perilously low! I will be happy to relieve you of them at any of the fairs I am attending. My schedule can be seen here.
Are you a member of a textile group? I am currently taking bookings for talks and demonstrations during the autumn and winter months.Contact me to make arrangements.
