Chorlton, Altrincham, Aprons, Denim Bags & a new Workshop date
I will be at the Chorlton Community Market at the Post Box Cafe on Wilbraham Road in Chorlton on Saturday 12 July where I will have a large range of my books, aprons, bags and makers' stuff with me.
I will be back at the Altrincham Covered Market on Sunday 13 July. This is the place to be in Manchester on Sundays with local handmade crafts and food as well as live music.
It was good to meet new and old friends at Custer Street and Fountain Square in June. I will give you more Midwest dates as soon as they are confirmed.
There have been some changes in my itinerary for the rest of the year but my current schedule of planned attendance at Art and Craft Fairs can be seen here.
The next Workshop at Broad Lee House will be a book making one on Saturday 26 July. You can sign up to attend this workshop in my website shop. Details of the workshop content can be seen here. If you have a group (2 to 6) interested in attending a workshop please contact me to make arrangements. I can be fairly flexible midweek but most weekends are already committed. If you are only available at weekends contact me and we will see what can be worked out.
I continue to add blogs on my website covering recent work, including aprons and denim bags. They can be seen below.
Many recipients of this newsletter have visited my garden at Broad Lee House during workshops or at other times. I have now added a page on my website showing the garden at different times of the year which I hope you will enjoy. Visitors are always welcome by appointment.
My thanks to the many subscribers who are saving envelopes for me. All sizes are welcome and any quantities will be gratefully received as my stocks are starting to run perilously low! I will be happy to relieve you of them at any of the fairs I am attending. My schedule can be seen here.
Are you a member of a textile group? I am currently taking bookings for talks and demonstrations during the autumn and winter months.Contact me to make arrangements.
